SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated status sassa to service the area every day. The services stage developed for intervention experiences a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
